In the occupied West Bank, Israeli aircraft struck a Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist compound, leading Palestinian officials to confirm at least one death. Israel issued a warning that it would intensify its attacks in the northern Gaza Strip after militants used the website to plan attacks against it.
Humanitarian aid was sent to Palestine by India, and the Israeli military has called on Gazans to relocate southward to avoid danger. A C-17 aircraft operated by the Israel Air Forces left for El-Arish airport in Egypt with approximately 6.5 tonnes of medical supplies and 32 tonnes of disaster relief supplies for the people of Palestine.
Hamas Conflict
Following a 1,400-person cross-border Hamas attack on Gaza’s cities on October 7, Israel launched its “total siege” of the region. Hundreds of children were among the 4,385 Palestinians who died as a result of Israel’s air and missile strikes, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
Amid the conflict between Israel and Hamas, 143 people, including two citizens of Nepal and four infants, boarded a special flight as part of Operation Ajay and set out for India.
