Salaar: The worldwide gross for Prabhas’ flick is Rs 402 crore

The biggest opening of 2023 was Salaar, a Prabhas film, which outperformed Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan at the box office.

With an outstanding total domestic revenue of Rs 211.12 crore, the film recovered pace on Sunday, earning Rs 64.07 crore in India.

Salaar made Rs 90.7 crore on its third day, more than Jawan’s Rs 89.5 crore on its first. Salaar recovered on Sunday, hitting Rs 64.07 crore, after falling 37% on Saturday. The film brought in Rs 209.1 crore worldwide.

With an astounding Rs 402 crore in global gross revenue, Salaar smashes yet another Jawan record. On the Comscore chart, the movie came in third place, behind Wonka, The Lost King, and Aqua Man.

Salaar is up against tough competition from Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, which opened one day earlier and took in Rs 31.50 crore on Sunday to increase its total domestic haul to Rs 106.43 crore. Two portions of the movie, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, and Shouryaanga Parvam Part 2, are scheduled for release.
