15 fashion shows to be added to the 2024 schedule

  • Several foreign fashion exhibitions are included for exploration by visitors on FashionUnited’s 2024 list.

Several foreign fashion exhibitions are included for exploration by visitors on FashionUnited’s 2024 list. Thirty years of the British Fashion Council’s NewGen program is being commemorated in the UK with an exhibition at the Design Museum in London featuring the work of three hundred young designers.

‘Rebel: 30 Years of London Fashion’ is an exhibition that highlights the distinctive fashion culture of London. It includes looks by JW Anderson, Christopher Kane, Molly Goddard, Steven Stokey Daley, Harri, Craig Green, Meadham Kirchhoff, Wales Bonner, and Sinéad O’Dwyer.

Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, a French couturière, has her work on display at the V&A Museum in London. The exhibition highlights the development of Chanel’s unique design style as well as the establishment of the fashion house. Explore the meaning of the term “diva” and its accepted role in performance culture at the V&A Museum in London’s “Diva” exhibition.

Vivienne Westwood, Bruce Oldfield, and Stella McCartney are among the British fashion industry heavyweights being highlighted at Blenheim Palace in Woodstock.

From 23 March to 30 June 2024, the exhibition will be on view. Discover how the iconic doll has evolved via design, architecture, furniture, and automotive design at the Barbie exhibition at the Design Museum in London.

Eighty pieces by more than seventy designers are on display at the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, an exhibition devoted to the work of women designers. Exhibition ‘Statement Sleeves’ featuring the creations of fashion designers including Balenciaga, Tom Ford, Schiaparelli, Vivienne Westwood, and Thierry Mugler.

The Fashion & Lace Museum in Brussels is hosting Diane von Fürstenberg’s first exhibition in Europe, titled “Diane von Fürstenberg: Women Before Fashion.” An insight into British fashion history and clothing codes can be had at the Kunstmuseum in The Hague’s ‘Royals & Rebels’ exhibition.
