Dr. Garry Nolan, a professor at Stanford, disagrees that extraterrestrials are remotely observing Earth: They are already situated here. At Salt iConnections last week, a pathology professor from Stanford’s medical school discussed why he doesn’t think there will be an alien invasion.
Perhaps it has already occurred without anyone realizing it. In Nolan’s opinion, aliens are present among us and probably have been for a very long time.
Aliens are Here
I think you can go even farther and argue that it hasn’t simply appeared; it has been here for a very long time and is still here. UFO and alien enthusiasts frequently claim that 1977 Wow! signal, an unidentified radio broadcast, is evidence of extraterrestrial life. Furthermore, Nolan made it abundantly obvious that he had no doubts about the existence of aliens among us at all.

Can Dr. Nolan possibly be right? Perhaps. Maybe not. In the end, he and I are both in the dark. Even if the Stanford professor may be speaking with absolute certainty, let’s apply some brakes. There is no evidence that aliens exist. Do we have many films of unusual and enigmatic objects in the sky? I have no doubts.
But does that mean there is extraterrestrial life there as well? In my opinion, no. There are numerous plausible and logical reasons. My main hypothesis is that much of it might be our military technology.
However, if aliens are real and already present here, we are doomed. Aliens may have technology that we just cannot stop if they have succeeded to reach Earth.
Different nuclear weapon types are the most potent weapons in the human arsenal. Although nuclear weapons are highly potent, they stand no chance of stopping aliens who have the technology to reach Earth.
Nothing can be done on a large scale if the aliens have already arrived. Could we now really embrace “Red Dawn” at the microscopic level? Maybe, but it would still be a difficult scenario.
