Meta will release an online version of the Threads App

  • Meta plans to debut the web version of Threads early next week.
  • Users have had limited access to select Threads posts on the web.
  • Active users on Threads have decreased to about 10 million.

Although the company’s intentions aren’t set in stone and could alter, the article stated that Meta plans to debut the web version of Threads early next week.

Users have had limited access to select Threads posts on the web because Threads was created with mobile phone users in mind.

The online version of the Threads App

The web version of Threads is currently being evaluated internally, according to Adam Mosseri, CEO of Threads and Instagram, who also verified this last week.

Mosseri stated in response to a comment on Threads, “We’re working on it! For the past week or so, we have been internally testing an early version. However, it still needs more work before we can make it accessible to everyone.

The social media app Threads, which was introduced on July 5 to compete with X and win over customers dissatisfied with Elon Musk‘s reforms, has experienced a decline in active users to about 10 million. Users can utilize the app’s following tab to check links against their Mastodon profile.

To stop bogus news and propaganda, it has now begun displaying labels for state-controlled media organizations.

While X’s projected 363.7 million monthly active users and 237.8 million daily active users were reported in its most recent quarterly profits, active users on Threads have decreased to about 10 million despite hitting 100 million monthly active users in less than a week.
