For the first time, the availability of the handset corresponds with its global release as Apple has officially introduced the iPhone 15 in India. At Apple outlets in BKC, Mumbai, and Saket, New Delhi, there are already large lines for the iPhone 15 Pro Max and Pro Max.
Since September 15, customers could pre-purchase the newest iPhones, and on Friday morning, both order delivery and in-store sales started.
iPhone Series 15
When using a qualifying HDFC Bank card to make purchases on Apple India’s website, customers will presently receive instant savings of 6,000 on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max and 5,000 on the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus.
The cost of the iPhone 15 is now $74,900, down from the previous price of $79,900, while the cost of the iPhone 15 Plus is now $84900, down from the previous price of $89,900.
The price of the iPhone 15 Pro has been reduced from $134,900 to $128,900, while the price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max has been reduced from $159,900 to $153,900.
Customers can choose from free EMI plans for 3 or 6 months from certain banks as well as monthly payment EMI plans. Customers can further reduce the price of their Apple iPhone by trading in their current smartphone as part of a trade-in program.
Although sources suggest that India-made iPhone 15 devices will also be offered for sale on the same day, Apple will reportedly get the majority of its iPhone 15 units from China.
This launch is the first time a flagship iPhone has been built and sold in India at the same time since Apple started doing so in 2017 with the iPhone SE.
