Sensex falling below 74K and the Nifty moving down

  • Bajaj Auto Ltd., representing a 25% increase in total car wholesale sales.
  • In the fiscal year 2023–24, the IREDA established a record high for both annual loan sanctions and disbursements.
  • The BSE Sensex falling below the 74K threshold at 73,876.03.

3.65,904 vehicles were sold in March, including exports, according to Bajaj Auto Ltd., representing a 25% increase in total car wholesale sales. Up 18% to 2,20,393 units, domestic sales also increased.

Income Tax department sent tax demand notices to Sobha Ltd. totaling Rs 46 crore for Assessment Years 2016–17 and 2022–23. Against the orders, the firm intends to launch an appeal.

Sensex and Nifty

In the fiscal year 2023–24, the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) established a record high for both annual loan sanctions and disbursements. Loans totaling Rs 37,354 crore and Rs 25,089 crore were distributed in FY24, resulting in a 26.71 percent increase in the loan book.

Due to significant output growth and the largest number of new orders since October 2020, the manufacturing sector in India demonstrated robust activity in March, rising to its highest point in 16 years.

Tuesday’s stock market saw bearish trading, with the NSE Nifty50 edging down by 30 points to 22,432 and the BSE Sensex falling below the 74K threshold at 73,876.03.
