The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has directed online retailers to remove all drinks, including Bournvita, from the “health drinks” section of their websites and online marketplaces.
The FSS Act of 2006, as well as the rules and regulations that FSSAI and Mondelez India Food Pvt Ltd filed, do not define “health drink,” according to the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR).
