The IFSC Youth World Championships 2024 in Guiyang, China, brings together 599 young climbers from around the globe for ten days of intense competition. With athletes divided into U16, U18, and U20 categories, they will vie for top positions in Boulder, Lead, and Speed climbing events.

Vice Mayor Long Cong, IFSC Event Delegate Christoph Billon, and IFSC President Marco Scolaris all extended warm welcomes to the participants. The ceremony included a symbolic flag-waving procession and an Athletes Pledge delivered by Australia’s Cléa Hall, embodying the competitive spirit of the championships.
