US Open Title Won’t be Awarded to Sabalenka Know Why?

  • Aryna Sabalenka is the future world number one.
  • She will guarantee the top space after the US Open.
  • But the US Open Title is not for Sabalenka.

Sabalenka’s best position was affirmed after current world number one Iga Swiatek crashed out of the US Open this Sunday. Sabalenka was in a state of ecstasy with the possibility of achieving the world’s number one spot in the rankings.

Does this most recent lift in rankings guarantee Aryna Sabalenka of her lady US Open title? Indeed, the response is a resonating no.

Sabalenka Spot No.1 but No US Open Title

With enormous names like Iga Swiatek, Ons Jabeur, and Jessica Pegula out of conflict, the street ahead may look very smooth for the Belarussian. Yet, a profound jump into the ladies’ singles class will uncover its eccentric idea.

America’s Coco Gauff is the most elevated seed left in the top portion of the ladies’ singles. The number six seed youngster will confront Latvian Jelena Ostapenko in the quarter-finals.

The apparatus against Gauff will stamp Ostapenko’s lady quarterfinal appearance in the US Open. Ostapenko arrived at the quarter-finals getting the better of current world number one Iga Swiatek.

Gauff, then again, qualified for the quarter-finals having crushed previous world number one Caroline Wozniacki in a three-set spine chiller in the last round. Gauff has been in a dumbfounding structure lately and entered the Flushing Glades with a tremendous record of 11-1 in the US summer hard-court swing.

In addition, Gauff guaranteed two lofty titles in front of the current year’s US Open. Thinking of her as the current structure, Gauff’s possibilities of overcoming the US Open appear to be very splendid and the 19-year-old will surely give an intense battle to Sabalenka.

The base portion of the draw is no less exciting. 10th seed Marketa Vondrousova and America’s Madison Keys are two conspicuous figures competing for the US Open title in the base portion of the ladies’ singles draw.

However, unfortunately, only one of these two profoundly gifted players will arrive at the semi-last stage as Vondrousova and Keys are set to confront each other in the quarter-finals. In the other quarterfinal, Aryna Sabalenka will confront China‘s Qinwen Zheng, who crushed 2022 finalist Ons Jabeur in straight sets.
