India Wins Against New Zealand in 3rd T20I Series

In the 3rd T20I series, the Indian cricket team outplayed New Zealand by securing a 168-run to wrap up the series 2-1. Besides winning the 50th T20I series at home, the Hardik Pandya-led side proved to be the first team in the history of the game to win 50 games against Test-playing nations.

In the T20I series at home, this victory marked the half-century for the Indian cricket team. India’s strong foundation was laid by Shubman Gill.

Victory in T20 Internationals

In all three formats of this game, Shubman completed centuries, and it was not done by many. When they are selected to play at the World’s biggest cricket ground in Ahmedabad, Gill steered the team to 234-4 and also recorded his maiden T20 series for India.

Indian bowlers win the match by skittling out the Kiwis’ players for a paltry 66 in 12.1 overs for a 2-1 series. They already whitewashed the kiwis in three one-day matches.

It was a horrendous start for New Zealand as Arshdeep Singh struck twice in the second over of the innings to reduce their top four to just seven runs inside three overs.

Suryakumar took three spectacular catches at Pandya’s pace bowling and they send back Finn Allen, for three, and Glenn Phillips, for two. Arshdeep, Umran, and Shivam Manvi each of them took two wickets.
