On Grandstand, Aryna Sabalenka will take on her closest friend Paula Badosa at 3 p.m. UK time. Three Britishmen are competing: Jack Draper, Cameron Norrie, and Andy Murray.

Murray is going up against Tomas Martin Etcheverry, while Draper is going up against Nicolas Jarry, the number 22 seed. On Wednesday, Murray and Draper were victorious in Britain, defeating Taro Daniel and Matteo Berrettini.

Miami Open

After her opponent resigned early due to sickness, 16-year-old Brenda Fruhvirtova was upset by British No. 1 Katie Boulter in the second round. Evans fought back to defeat Italian Lorenzo Sonego. Daniil Medvedev won the men’s competition last year, while Iga Swiatek is the reigning champion in the women’s division.

Novak Djokovic, a six-time champion, has decided not to travel to Florida. He has only played three times this year, going to the United Cup as a representative of Serbia, the Australian Open semifinals, and merely the third round of Indian Wells.

At Indian Wells, Djokovic was shocked to lose to 123rd-ranked Italian Luka Nardi in the third round. The 2023 women’s champion Petra Kvitova, who recently announced that she will give birth later this year, has decided not to play.

The women’s singles first round is scheduled for Tuesday, March 19; the men’s and women’s singles first round is scheduled for Wednesday, March 20; the women’s and men’s singles second round is scheduled for Friday, March 22; the women’s and men’s singles second round is scheduled for Saturday, March 23; the women’s singles third round and the men’s singles second round is scheduled for Sunday, March 24.

Men’s and women’s singles fourth rounds are on Monday, March 25. Men’s and women‘s singles quarterfinals on Wednesday, March 27.

The women’s singles semi-finals and men’s singles quarter-finals are on Thursday, March 28. Men’s singles semi-finals are on Friday, March 29. The women’s singles final is on Saturday, March 30. The men’s singles final is on Sunday, March 31.
