At the Library in St Helier, 100 Years of Table Tennis in Jersey was Displayed

Table tennis is an extraordinary game for anybody to play, and is the most famous racket sport on the planet.

A presentation delineating 100 years of table tennis in Jersey is in plain view at the library in St Helier.

100 Years of Table Tennis in Jersey

The show is important for a progression of occasions being held to check the century year of the Jersey Table Tennis Affiliation (JTTA).

It highlights table tennis hardware – old and new – including bats from 1901, as well as archives from the Affiliation’s establishment in 1923.

The presentation of memorabilia is on show at the library until 4 November.

The JTTA’s centennial facilitator, Terry Shaw, said the show was the aftereffect of long stretches of examination.

Previous JTTA president, Paul Routier portrayed the Affiliation‘s set of experiences as “incredible”.
