Trump: Biden is a destroyer of American democracy

  • Trump brought up his record of praising autocratic leaders and occasionally adopting their language.

President Joe Biden is being called the “destroyer of American democracy” by former President Donald Trump, who is also accusing Biden of trying to reverse his election victory. Trump’s claims regarding Democratic candidate Joe Biden mirror those of Biden regarding his predecessor.

Since Trump is leading the Republican primary and making threats against his opponents and the media should he win the presidency once more, Biden has intensified his cautions, claiming that Trump is “determined to destroy American democracy.”

Destroyer of American democracy

In his most direct speech, Trump argued why voters should view his opponent as the greater threat to democracy. He restated his long-standing claim that Biden is abusing the federal justice system against his opponent, as evidenced by the four criminal indictments against him.

Trump claimed that while Biden and his radical left allies like to portray themselves as champions of democracy, in reality, he is the enemy of American democracy and not its defender.

In response, Biden campaign spokesperson Ammar Moussa said that in Donald Trump’s America of 2025, the government will be his tool for imprisoning his political rivals. Should Biden win reelection to the White House, Trump has long pledged to bring retaliatory charges against him.

But up until now, none of the lawsuits have succeeded, and Trump attributed their failure to the president, saying that he had “defaced the Constitution” by attempting to obstruct him.

Additionally, Trump brought up his record of praising autocratic leaders and occasionally adopting their language. Claiming to be liked by North Korean President Kim Jong Un, he praised Chinese President Xi Jinping and the country’s criminal justice system for their quick execution of drug dealers.

There is no evidence to support Trump’s claims that the 2020 presidential election was “stolen” or that elections in the United States are “rigged,” despite his repeated claims to the contrary.

On January 6, 2021, supporters of Trump will assault the US Capitol in an attempt to prevent the official certification of Biden’s victory over Trump.
