In the next five days, it is anticipated that the reelection campaign of President Joe Biden will raise more than $15 million through a variety of events and appeals.

After three fundraising events in Boston, where he headlined a donor concert, Biden left for Washington. With less than a month until the start of the election year, he has been stepping up his fundraising efforts.

Reelection campaign

He is scheduled to travel to Los Angeles on Friday, where he will be hosting a gala fundraiser alongside celebrities from the film industry. The Democratic National Committee and Biden’s campaign reported raising $71.3 million in the previous quarter.

Trump’s anticipated fundraising total surpasses the $9.3 million he received from major contributors for his reelection campaign in December 2019.

Biden can raise $929,600 from private donations, which will be divided between his campaign, state parties, and the Democratic National Committee.

Saying that Trump posed a serious threat to American democracy, Biden stated at a Massachusetts fundraiser that he might not have run for reelection if the former president had not decided to run for office again.
