Rajasthan Chief Minister Inauguration Live: Diya Kumari, Prem Chand Bhairwa sworn in as Deputy Chief Ministers

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi has attended the swearing-in ceremony of Bhajan Lal Sharma as the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

People here have rejected Congress’s assurance and accepted Prime Minister Modi’s. People have determined to re-elect PM Modi in 2024.

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, who is in Jaipur to attend Bhajan Lal Sharma’s swearing-in ceremony, said, “…my best wishes to him and his team. I hope the new CM Bhajan Lal will fulfill PM Modi. Guaranteed.”

The new Speaker of the Rajasthan Assembly, BJP’s Ajmer North Assembly member Vasudev Devnani is currently serving as MLA for the fifth consecutive term. Vasundhara Raje served as Chief Minister for two terms and also served as Minister of various departments.

Devanani, who turns 76 next month, was the Minister of State for Primary and Secondary Education from 2004 to 2008 and again from 2014 to 2018, in charge of Sanskrit Education and Higher Education. Various periods.

Diya Kumari is the least surprising of the names announced by the BJP, as her star has been on the rise for the past several months. Prem Chand Bhairwa was another name announced as one of the two deputy chief ministers at the BJP’s legislative party meeting in Jaipur. Bhairwa, a second-term legislator from Dudu assembly constituency near Jaipur, was again a surprise choice for the post as the party chose him over established Dalit leaders like Madan Dilawar and Anita Patel.

Bhairwa was earlier the MLA from Dudu in 2013 but was defeated as an independent by Congress rebel Babu Lal Nagar in the 2018 assembly elections. Elected to the Assembly five times from Dudu constituency, the local is known for its strong influence in the city.

The swearing-in ceremony of Bhajan Lal Sharma, who has been appointed as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, will begin at 11.15 am in Jaipur. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, Union Ministers and various state chief ministers will attend the ceremony in front of the Albert Hall.
