The Rosenberg Meta will be showcased at Climate Week NYC and Art Basel Miami, with the digital art available for purchase online. Proceeds from the sales will benefit charities focused on environmental conservation, sustainability, and human rights. This project not only highlights the creativity of the next generation but also underscores the role of education in fostering technological advancements and social responsibility.
The metaverse will be unveiled during Climate Week NYC, hosted by SwissNex from September 25-27, 2024. Following this, it will also be featured at Art Basel Miami from December 6-8, 2024. These events will provide a global platform for the virtual world, highlighting its focus on sustainable futures and advanced technologies.
Visitors to the Rosenberg Meta can explore a vibrant digital environment showcasing 117 collectible art pieces created by students. Each piece represents a blend of creativity and collaboration, set against the backdrop of a sustainable floating society designed by the students.
Additionally, the digital art available for purchase will support various charitable causes, including environmental conservation and human rights. This initiative underscores the potential of educational institutions to drive innovation and make a positive impact on global issues.
The Rosenberg Meta exemplifies how educational institutions can harness student creativity to address global challenges and drive technological progress. By integrating sustainability themes with digital innovation, the project sets a new standard for how education can contribute to meaningful change.
“The Rosenberg Meta is not merely a digital playground; it is a testament to the ingenuity and creativity of the next generation,” said Bernhard Gademann, President of Institut auf dem Rosenberg.
