A 20-year-elderly person was killed after her scooty was hit by a vehicle and she was hauled under the vehicle for 12 kilometers in Delhi today, the police said. The lady’s family has claimed that she was physically attacked.
Five men were in the vehicle, a Maruti Suzuki Baleno, and they have been captured, the police said. The captured men incorporated a Mastercard assortment specialist, a driver and a proportion retailer, a cop told.

The occurrence occurred in Delhi‘s Sultanpuri today, a few hours into the New Year festivities that started at 12 PM. In the wake of hitting her scooty, the vehicle drove on for 10-12 km even as her appendages got ensnared in the vehicle’s underside, the police said.
Rekha, the lady’s mom, asserted the men had physically attacked her. “Her garments can’t be totally removed. Her whole body was exposed when they viewed her. I need a full examination and equity,” she said.
The lady’s uncle, Prem Singh, said he got a call at 11 am from his significant other saying Anjali is dead. “My senior sister (Anjali’s mom) got a call at 7 am illuminating her that Anjali has met with a mishap and her body is in the posthumous room at Sanjay Gandhi Medical clinic,” Mr. Singh said.
“My sister was called to the police headquarters. They didn’t show her where the mishap occurred, however, the vehicle and the scooty were there. There was blood all over the place. There was blood on the sheet metal on the sides,” he said.
“This case resembles the Nirbhaya case. The men attempted to accomplish something terrible… I need equity,” he asserted.

The police control room got a call at 3.24 am that a vehicle was seen hauling a body. The police got one more call at 4.11 am about a lady’s body lying out and about. From that point onward, the police alarmed officials sent at pickets and began looking for the vehicle.
“Police captured the blame on the reason for the enrolled vehicle number. The blamed said their vehicle met with a mishap with a scooty, yet they were ignorant that she was hauled alongside their vehicle for a few kilometers,” Delhi Cop Harendra K Singh told including a few posts web-based entertainment that guaranteed it was an assault case were phony and the police would act against those posting such satisfied.
Delhi Commission for Ladies’ boss Swati Maliwal said it has been accounted for that the men in the vehicle were tanked.
The police said the five men are being tried for driving drunk and they are checking whether the driver was impaired.
