PM Modi’s Developmental Push: New Educational, Housing Projects for Delhi and Beyond

On January 3, 2025, PM Narendra Modi inaugurated several key infrastructure projects in Delhi, focusing on education and housing. The foundation stone for two new Delhi University campuses and a Veer Savarkar College in Najafgarh was laid to boost educational opportunities.

Additionally, the government announced new residential projects aimed at providing Pucca houses to the underprivileged in Delhi, a continuation of efforts to improve living conditions in urban areas.

PM Modi Champions Education and Housing with Major Projects in Delhi

In addition to education, PM Modi also focused on housing and urban development. He highlighted the central government’s success in providing homes to over 4 crore people through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and emphasized that more than 3,000 new homes would soon be available in Delhi. This marks another step in the effort to replace informal settlements with permanent, dignified housing for the city’s residents.

PM Modi also emphasized the importance of improving regional connectivity and transportation. He announced the creation of a new Jammu Railway Division, which will improve travel between Jammu, Kashmir, and Punjab. This new division is expected to provide greater efficiency and serve as a boost for tourism in the region. It aligns with broader infrastructure development efforts by the central government.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of accessible education for all. Under the National Education Policy, children from marginalized communities will now have clearer pathways to pursue higher education and professional careers. The government is also expanding the reach of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with new infrastructure, such as a new CBSE building.

PM Modi’s initiatives reflect his commitment to uplifting citizens through education, housing, and transportation, fostering the vision of a developed India by 2025.
