The World Health Assembly is expected to consider the agreement in 2019.
Ayushman Bharat, the largest health insurance program in the world, is one way that Ghebreyesus applauded India for its commitment to universal health coverage and for adopting telemedicine at the primary healthcare level.
He acknowledged the leadership shown by India and the other G20 nations in creating the formal start of the global initiative on digital health tomorrow.
