According to the ministry, there were 4,368 flooded dwellings, along with 5,654 adjacent plots and 7 apartment structures, according to the Russian news agency TASS. It claimed that 28 communities were still shut off.

According to the report, the majority of the residences impacted were in Ussuriysk, Spassk-Dalny, and the Oktyabrsky municipal district in the Primorye region, where the port of Vladivostok serves as the regional administrative hub.

In its Telegram channel, the ministry announced that the task force will “coordinate the work to eliminate the consequences of the flood.” It claimed that Mi-8 helicopters assisted in transporting rescuers to the scene while its planes carried out humanitarian supply deliveries.

It noted that no casualties had been reported and that by putting forces in early, it had prevented more significant damage.

According to TASS, Ussuriysk, the second-largest city in Primorye, saw its worst and greatest flood in ten years, affecting between 35 and 40 percent of its area.
