The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for Kangra, Kullu, and Mandi, alongside a flash flood warning for six districts, expecting more rain until August 2.

The state government, with support from the Union home minister, is coordinating rescue efforts. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is closely monitoring the situation and has directed officials to provide all necessary assistance.
