The Espeto Competition, now celebrating its 10th anniversary, will take place on August 3 at Playamar Beach in Torremolinos. This popular event, organized by Sabor a Málaga, brings together top chefs from across the Costa del Sol to compete in creating the best espeto—a traditional Malaga delicacy of sardines grilled on skewers. The festival begins at 6pm and is open to everyone free of charge.
Attendees will not only enjoy the competitive spirit of the event but also have the opportunity to savor a variety of espetos cooked to perfection. The air will be filled with the aromatic scent of burning olive wood, creating an authentic and mouthwatering experience. In addition to the culinary delights, the event will feature live music performances by Los Papitos and DJ Toulalan.
