Six challengers of a Miss Universe Indonesia exhibition have documented objections with police blaming coordinators for inappropriate behavior after they claimed they were exposed to topless “body checks”, their legal counselor said on Tuesday.
The Indonesian contenders of the Indonesian excellence exhibition, held in the capital Jakarta from July 29 to Aug. 3, said the coordinators requested five of them to strip to their clothing for actual assessments in a room with more than 20 individuals, including men.

One of the complainants told a public interview, broadcast by the news channel Kompas television, that she had been approached to present improperly, including by opening her legs.
Reuters attempted to contact the organization that runs the Miss Universe Indonesia show, PT Capella Insignia Karya, and the organization’s organizer, Poppy Capella, through their online entertainment accounts yet they didn’t answer.
Jakarta police representative Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko said a report from challengers had been gotten on Monday and it would be researched.
