Meanwhile, in northwest Turkey’s Canakkale province, firefighters are grappling with another wildfire near Ayvacik. Although no injuries have been reported, authorities took precautionary measures by evacuating the village of Camkoy. Governor Ali Ihsan Su of Diyarbakir confirmed the villages of Koksalan, Yazcicegi, and Bagacik were particularly affected before firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control early on Friday.
