Prosecutors and a police source reported that a father in France turned himself in on Sunday after confessing to killing his three young daughters.

According to the local public prosecutor, the 41-year-old man went to the Dieppe police station in the northern coastal town “to report that he had killed his three children”. In the southeast Parisian suburb of Alfortville, police discovered them dead in his house.

In the Creteil suburb of Paris, the public prosecutor verified the “deaths of three young girls aged four, ten, and eleven.” According to a police source, two kids were fatally stabbed. According to preliminary investigation results, they were discovered beneath a cover, and the third one lay lifeless on a sofa.

According to a person familiar with the case, the father was found guilty of domestic abuse in 2021. After being issued, a restraining order against him was later lifted.
