Visit the 2023 Latin AMAs to See Becky G, Prince Royce, Chiquis, and More Stars

In Las Vegas, the stars are gleaming brightly. In addition to Julián Gil and Galilea Montijo, Clarissa Molina, and Natti Natasha performing live from the MGM Grand Arena, some of the best Latin music artists will attend the 2023 Latin American Music Awards.

This year’s awards presentation, which will air on April 20 on Univision, UniMás, and Galavisión, will feature nothing less than performance highlights.

Pitbull, Grupo Frontera, Lele Pons, Becky G, and Peso Pluma are a few of the performers, as well as their song “Chanel,” which they will play together on stage.

Who might be the winner of the awards? Televisa Univision announced in its press release that the top-nominated artist at Coachella, Bad Bunny, has excellent odds with his 11 nominations. Becky G and Daddy Yankee each have nine nominations. The List of winners are:

  • Best Collaboration – Tropical: “Monotonía” – Shakira & Ozuna
  • Best Crossover Artist: The Weeknd
  • Best Artist – Pop: Shakira
  • Best Artist – Tropical: Romeo Santos
  • Artist of the Year: Karol G
  • Album of the Year: Un Verano Sin Ti – Bad Bunny
  • Collaboration Crossover of the Year: “La fama” – Rosalía & The Weeknd
  • Streaming Artist of the Year: Karol G
  • Tour of the Year: $trip Love Tour – Karol G
  • Best Album – Pop: Motomami – Rosalía
  • Best Song – Pop: “Provenza” – Karol G
  • Best Artist – Urban: Karol G
  • Best Album – Urban: Un Verano Sin Ti – Bad Bunny
  • Best Song – Urban: “Tití me preguntó” – Bad Bunny
  • Best Collaboration – Pop/Urban: “MAMIII” – Becky G & Karol G
  • Best Artist – Regional Mexican: Junior H
  • Best Album – Regional Mexican: Mi Vida En Un Cigarro 2 – Junior H
  • Best Song – Regional Mexican: “No se va (En vivo)” – Grupo Frontera
  • Best Album – Tropical: Fórmula, Vol. 3 – Romeo Santos
  • Best Song – Tropical: “La bachata” – Manuel Turizo

The announcement of Daddy Yankee’s retirement from music in March 2022, which has earned him the moniker “King of Reggaeton,” coincides with the artist’s nominations, according to NBC News.

Legendaddy, the rapper’s eighth and final album, is competing for album of the year against other albums by Bad Bunny, Eslabón Armado, Rosala, Farruko, Romeo Santos, Becky G, Ivan Cornejo, Daado, and Buena Vista Social Club.

According to a March 14 announcement by TelevisaUnivision, the ceremony will also honor the icons Carlos Vives and Pepe Aguilar as 2023 Latin AMAs Legacy awardees.

Stars are also sporting some of their best outfits for the occasion. Steve Aoki was dressed in a bright red tuxedo, while Becky G wore a PatBo minidress.
