President Droupadi Murmu presented the Padma Shri Awards 2023 on April 5 in New Delhi. Raveena Tandon, a Bollywood actor, received the fourth-highest civilian prize. Musician MM Keeravani, an Oscar 2023 winner, also got the prestigious award.
Both were presented with the title at a ceremony hosted at the Rashtrapati Bhavan by the entertainment sector. Amit Shah, the Union home minister, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi both witnessed the presentation ceremony.
Civilian Padma Shri Award 2023
President Droupadi Murmu presented the civilian honor of Padma Shri to Raveena Tandon and MM Keeravani. The actress received praise for her work in KGF 2, a pan-Indian blockbuster success starring Yash.
Having made her debut in 1991 with Patthar Ke Phool, she has worked steadily ever since and has gained fame thanks to roles in Mohra, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Andaaz Apna Apna, and Dhule Raja among others.

Early in January, the Central government revealed a total of 106 Padma Awards in various categories. The categories included literature and education, sports, social work, science and engineering, commerce and industry, public affairs, social work, and more.
Other recipients of the Padma Shri from the entertainment sector include vocalist Vani Jairam and tabla master Zakir Hussain, in addition to Raveena Tandon and MM Keeravani.
Children Sasha and Ranbir were spotted by their mother, Raveena Tandon, as the family went to the awards show. To assist his cousin’s brother MM Keeravani, RRR director SS Rajamouli traveled. People all over the country are congratulating the two on their honor as a result of viral photos from the occasion.
