- Drake is the general single-night pioneer.
- He won seven honors in 2017.
- Swift recently won the honor in 2015.
To the amazement of positively nobody, Taylor Swift won Craftsman of the Year at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Grants, which were introduced on Monday (April 1) at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. (Here is the full rundown of champs.)
In 2016 and 2018, Swift won female craftsman of the year, before the iHearts moved to impartial classifications for good last year.
2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards
Swift, who acknowledged her honors with a video message, won a sum of six honors on the evening, matching her take from last year when she set another standard for the most wins in a single night by a female craftsman.
Swift’s five different honors are Pop Craftsman of the Year, Visit Through the Year for The Periods Visit, and in three socially ballot classes — most loved visit style, best verses for “Is It Over Now?” and TikTok bop of the Year for “Brutal Summer.” These six honors broaden her lead as the craftsman with the most iHeartRadio Grants. She currently has 25.
This is Swift’s fourth success for best verses. She had recently won for “Wannabe,” “Really Quite Well” and “Clear Space.” Many view Swift as the head lyricist of her age. She has amassed seven Grammy designations for the melody of the year, more than any other person ever (however strangely she still can’t seem to win in that classification).
SZA and Peso Pluma each won four honors on the evening, clearing all suitable honors in their home classifications, R&B and Territorial Mexican, separately. Jam Roll, Morgan Wallen, Karol G, and Jung Screwball each won two honors.
Since Swift’s successes were so expected, here’s a more critical glance at seven different craftsmen who set standards at the 2024 iHearts.
