Margot Robbie, the actress, and Greta Gerwig, the director of Barbie, were noticeably left out of the running for Best Actress and Best Director, respectively, in the 96th Academy Awards.

Despite being nominated for Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay, they were left out of both categories, which ignored the most important work they did on the movie.

Gosling, who played in the classic movie Barbie, expressed his gratitude and delight at being considered for the part of Ken, a plastic doll. He underlined Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie’s roles in the movie, saying that their brilliance and skill were essential to its success.

Gosling also praised other nominees for their nominations, mentioning America Ferrera, the nominee for Best Supporting Actress. He was disappointed that they did not receive nominations in their respective categories.
