BLACKPINK members will not pursue solo projects under the label

An important announcement was made by YG Entertainment, one of the top entertainment companies in South Korea. About the plans of one of the most recognizable K-pop girl groups, BLACKPINK, on December 29 KST.

It was officially confirmed by the agency that Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé—the members of BLACKPINK—will not be pursuing separate promotions under the YG Entertainment label.

YG Entertainment has made the decision not to enter into agreements for the individual promotions of members of BLACKPINK. The agency has extended its contracts to support the team’s collective promotions, and it will use all of its resources to assist the group’s endeavors.

This occurs as the group’s devoted worldwide fan base anxiously awaits news on their solo endeavors and initiatives. Marking a new phase in her career, Jennie announced the launch of her label, OA (ODDATELIER).

Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé, the surviving members, have not yet revealed anything about their respective intentions for 2024.

Notable for her international appeal, Lisa is currently in negotiations with an international agency regarding her solo ventures, and Jisoo, well-known for her acting and singing abilities, is looking at ways to advance her acting career. This choice has raised interest in and expectation for what the formidable quartet of BLACKPINK will do next.
