Avatar: The biggest movie of last year is back

  • It’s difficult to top Avatar: The Way of Water, at the box office with Willy Wonka’s level of success.
  • James Cameron is a renowned director who uses technology to advance storytelling.
  • Magnus Jensen is aware of the expectations surrounding the release of the next Avatar film at the company’s Swedish studio.

It’s difficult to top Avatar: The Way of Water, last year’s Christmas #1, at the box office with Willy Wonka’s level of success. When it was released a year ago, the movie brought in $2.3 billion (£1.8 billion), more than both the previous Avengers film and this one.

Given Pandora’s fantastical setting and the fact that the large cast of blue Na’vi characters largely depends on computers for their survival, the Oscar visual effects were unexpected. James Cameron is a renowned director who uses technology to advance storytelling.

The crew working to advance the Avatar story this year is under some pressure due to the movie’s success; however, it may be fitting that the story is being told through a video game this time.

The last major motion picture of another exciting year for the business is Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Assassin’s Creed series publisher Ubisoft, based in France, brought it to the PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

Huge Entertainment’s creative director, Magnus Jensen, is aware of the expectations surrounding the release of the next Avatar film at the company’s Swedish studio.

As they wait for the next movie, which is slated for release in 2025, he hopes fans will find Frontiers of Pandora to be a genuine experience. Since they are present for the events of the recently released and upcoming films, the developers are aware of how their game fits into the Avatar timeline.

The film’s art direction was heavily borrowed from one another, and everything had to make sense within the same universe and time frame.
