Rapper Megan Thee Stallion is being sued by former cameraman Emilio Garcia for alleged harassment and labor breaches. Megan Pete, Megan Thee Stallion Entertainment, Inc., Hot Girl Touring, LLC, and Roc Nation are named as defendants in the case, which was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Garcia claims that in July 2018, he was mistakenly assigned the status of an independent contractor, depriving him of benefits guaranteed by California law, such as health insurance and overtime compensation.

Garcia merely wants to extort money, according to Meghan’s lawyer. Garcia claims that when Roc Nation switched to a pay-per-task model in August 2022, the company‘s expectations and demands regarding time were unchanged, despite a large drop in salary. He further asserts that Megan forbade him from collaborating with other clients.
Garcia feels that the termination of his employment with Roc Nation in June 2023 was a kind of reprisal for his accusations about wage and labor breaches. Meghan needs to give his client what he’s due, accept responsibility for her actions, and stop her fat-shaming and sexual harassment, according to Ron Zambrano, Garcia’s lawyer.
Ron Zambrano, Garcia’s lawyer, said: “Megan just needs to give our client what he’s entitled, take responsibility for her actions, and stop this kind of fat-shaming and sexual harassment.
It should never have happened that Emilio had to ride in the car with her while she had sex with another woman. To say that this behavior is “inappropriate” would be an understatement; it is undoubtedly criminal to expose employees to it.”
