Bybit Expands South American Presence with Physical Crypto Card
Brazilian users must first apply for Bybit’s Virtual Card to access the Physical Card. This offering is part of Bybit’s strategy to make cryptocurrencies more accessible and integrate them into everyday spending. The exchange is also expanding its presence in South America, with the physical card set to be available in Argentina through early registration.
In addition to the physical card, Bybit users can earn up to 8% APR on eligible balances, reinforcing the card’s appeal as a financial product for both spending and saving. Bybit has taken steps to ensure the card is user-friendly by eliminating fees, with no monthly or annual charges.
Since the successful launch of the virtual card, Bybit has seen strong growth in Brazil. The number of virtual card users has tripled since its introduction in September 2024. Bybit’s expansion doesn’t stop in Brazil, as the company has already begun pre-registration for the Bybit Physical Card in Argentina. The company aims to strengthen its position in South America, targeting Argentina as a key market and working to introduce the card with Mastercard support.
