Tax certificate issuance is one of three enhanced services provided by the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) of the United Arab Emirates.There are now only five papers and nine fields required for the tax certificate issuance service instead of twelve.
Refinement of the FTA website’s search function, electronic linking automation of data verification, multiple certificate copies, and integration with the UAE Pass are some of the initiatives taken to improve the services.

Additionally supplied is the digital certificate’s electronic seal for certification. To streamline operations and improve integration with other systems and institutions, the FTA has improved the tax residence certificate issuance process.
To enhance client experiences and give partners access to information via electronic systems, the excise goods registration inquiry response service has been upgraded.
There has been a reduction in the time required for service delivery from two days to five minutes and in the time required for service application from five minutes to two minutes.
Improvements have also been made to the tax refunds for UAE nationals constructing new homes; processing times have been lowered from 25 to 20 minutes, and there are now only five steps instead of six.
