The 2nd Uganda-Tanzania Business Forum will be held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on May 23–24, 2024, co-hosted by Tanzania and Uganda. The forum’s name, “Enhancing our win-win bilateral partnership,” refers to the two East African countries’ increased economic cooperation.

The long-standing links between Uganda and the United States were emphasized by Hon. John Mulimba, Uganda’s Minister of State for Regional Affairs, who mentioned cooperation in trade, security, education, agriculture, and energy.

Joint ventures such as the East African Crude Oil Pipeline, which is expected to provide substantial income and job possibilities, will be leveraged by the conference.

In addition, the event will emphasize priority industries such as manufacturing, tourism, energy, and agribusiness to draw investments for sustainable growth and job creation. We will stress the critical role played by the private sector in promoting economic growth.

Participants will be able to display their skills and look into possible collaborations since the conference combines an investment forum with a trade fair. Fostering corporate alliances and easing market access are intended to open up new trade and investment avenues.
