Airline of the Year

To honor those who have made contributions to the aviation industry, the 2024 Air Transport Awards were organized in collaboration with Hermes – Air Transport Organization and ATN – Air Transport News. Both an international aviation expert jury and Air Transport News readers cast their votes for the winners.

Having been established in 2005, IndiGo holds the greatest market share among aviation companies in India and has a fleet of more than 350 aircraft. At the moment, the airline connects over 30 international and over 85 domestic locations with about 2000 daily flights.

Recently, IndiGo made history by becoming the first airline in India to run 2,000 daily flights and transport 100 million people annually. By the end of this decade, the low-cost airline hopes to have doubled the size of its fleet in an aggressive network expansion.
