Mumbai Air terminal said on Monday it has posted a 32% year-on-year development in traveler volume to 4.2 million (42 lakh) in August.

When contrasted with the pre-pandemic level (August 2019), the development in traveler traffic in the earlier month was 108%, the air terminal said.
In August 2023, CSMIA recorded traveler traffic of over 4.32 million, with a development of 32% contrasted with 3.2 million travelers in August 2022, the confidential air terminal administrator said, adding global travelers at the office alone saw major areas of strength for a percent development with more than 1.1 million travelers against 0.84 million in a similar period last year.
The air terminal recorded a sum of 20,711 homegrown air traffic developments and 6,960 global ATMs during the month under survey, it said.
