German Startup Offers Cryopreservation Services for Future Revival

  • Tomorrow Bio charges ₹1.8 crore for full-body preservation and ₹67.2 lakh for brain-only.
  • The process involves cooling bodies to -198°C, halting all biological processes.
  • Over 650 individuals have signed up, with six people and five pets already preserved.

Tomorrow Bio, a German startup, is pioneering the field of cryopreservation, offering to freeze deceased bodies with the hope of future revival when technology advances.

The cost for this service is approximately ₹1.8 crore for preserving an entire body and ₹67.2 lakh for brain-only preservation. The process cools the body to minus 198 degrees Celsius, putting it into a state known as ‘biostasis,’ where all biological processes cease indefinitely.

Future Revival: The Promise of Cryopreservation by Tomorrow Bio

The company has already cryopreserved six people and five pets, with over 650 individuals having paid for the service. Tomorrow Bio’s vision is to create a world where people can choose how long they want to live, irrespective of their geographical location, identity, or financial resources. This ambitious project aims to challenge the current limitations of life and death through advanced scientific methods.

Currently, the startup has successfully cryopreserved six human bodies and five pets, with more than 650 people already enrolled in the program. These individuals have paid in advance for the possibility of being brought back to life once medical technology reaches the necessary advancements. The company’s mission is to democratize the choice of life span, making it accessible to people from various backgrounds and financial statuses.

In the cryopreservation process, the body is treated immediately after death to ensure cellular structures remain intact when cooled to extreme temperatures. This meticulous procedure aims to maintain the body’s condition until future technologies may provide solutions for revival and curing the causes of death. Cryopreservation remains speculative, but its promise lies in the potential of future scientific breakthroughs.

Tomorrow Bio is not just focusing on human preservation; they also cater to pets, acknowledging the bond between humans and their animal companions. By offering these services, the company taps into the growing interest in extending life beyond current biological limits. Their vision extends beyond the individual, aiming to contribute to a future where longevity is a choice, transcending traditional boundaries of life and death.

Tomorrow Bio’s cryopreservation services represent a bold step towards the future, where life and death may no longer be absolute states. With a vision of extending life at will, the company hopes to pave the way for significant advancements in medical technology and human longevity.

“Our vision is to build a world where people can choose how long they want to live – independent of where they are, who they are, and their financial resources.” – Tomorrow Bio
