Finance coach Sola Adesakin makes money management easier and helps people reach their financial goals. Possessing degrees from Edinburgh Business School and Oxford Brookes University, she blends practical experience with rigorous academics.

Sola has been honored for her commitment to financial literacy and her knowledge has helped others escape debt. She is one of Nigeria’s Most Inspiring Women and is the author of eight books and many articles on financial literacy.

Financial literacy

Sola’s desire to disseminate the knowledge that spurred her financial transformation served as the impetus for her journey toward financial empowerment. Numerous people have benefited from her books by changing the way they think about money and gaining the knowledge and abilities needed to create a more secure future.

Fundamental ideas for sound financial management are based on knowledge, real-world application, and a prudent financial mindset. The cornerstone is education, and it’s important to start with a plan. Other essentials include long-term planning, diversifying your income sources, and making prudent investments.

Sola has been able to reach a wider audience and establish connections with like-minded people thanks to the Women X Scholarship. She is currently involved in programs that encourage women and young adults to start their businesses because she believes that financial independence is essential to empowerment.

Fighting financial illiteracy, cutting through the noise to reach the most vulnerable, and consistently refining her message to appeal to a global audience are among the challenges facing financial education.

Three women have influenced Sola: her mother and her two aunts; her Assisters, a community of spiritual sisters; and her mentors, who have given her invaluable advice in all of her professional, personal, and spiritual pursuits.
