Hannah Karema Tumukunde of the Nakaseke District was declared the winner of Miss Uganda 2023/2024 yesterday night at the UMA Multipurpose Hall, following months of planning, organizing, and moving.
Whitney Martha Ademun, sister of the artist Cindy, came in second, while Prossy Agwang took third. At this year’s beauty pageant, Jerusha Muwanguzi and Jesca Sserwadda held the two top positions.
Miss Uganda and Big Eye’s Request
Karema was awarded a Toyota Wish automobile and the chance to represent Uganda at the Miss World pageant for winning this category. After winning Miss Popularity, she also qualified for a spot to represent Uganda in the Miss Elite competition taking place later this year in Egypt.
