Vandalise of ISKCON Temple in Australia’s Melbourne city

Khalistan -Zindabad graffiti vandalize another temple in the early hours of Monday morning (23rd January) in Melbourne’s Albert Park. The ISKCON temple is the third temple also called the management of Melbourne’s International Society for Krishna Consciousness Temple, the Hare Krishna Temple. This was the third such attack on the Hindu temples in Melbourne.

Early, anti-India graffiti vandalize in BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir on 12th January. Next, vandalize of Khalistan takes place in Shri Shiva Vishnu Temple on 16th January.

Vandalise of ISKCON Temple

“We are shocked and outraged with this blatant disregard for respect for the place of worship,” Das said.

Bhakta Das, Director of Communication for ISKCON temple said to Australia Today that they were shocked in the worship places and they will register a complaint to Victoria Police. 

  • Three such attacks over this month to Hindu Temple in Australia.
  • BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Shri Shiva Vishnu Temple, and now ISKCON temple.
  • Most of the devotees are shocked and outraged.

“In the last two weeks, Victoria Police has failed to take any decisive action against the people who are running their hate-filled agenda against the peaceful Hindu community.”

Shivesh Pandey, an IT consultant and devotee of ISKCON temple also said that the police of Victoria have not taken any actions against the people who are against the peaceful Hindu Community.

As per the Australia Today news report, the Victorian Multicultural Commission emergency meeting with the Victorian multifaith leaders was held two days before the third attack on the ISKCON temple.
