Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) has secured a major power transmission project to support green hydrogen and ammonia production in Gujarat.

With this project, AESL continues to expand its presence in the energy sector, cementing its role as India‘s largest private transmission company.

Adani Energy Solutions Expands Transmission Network with Green Energy Project in Gujarat

AESL’s new transmission project will play a key role in enabling the supply of green electrons for hydrogen and ammonia manufacturing in Mundra. The initiative involves setting up two 765/400kV transformers and a 75 km transmission line, reinforcing Gujarat’s green energy infrastructure.

This development contributes to AESL’s growing portfolio, which now boasts a transmission network of 25,928 circuit kilometers and 87,186 MVA transformation capacity. The project, expected to be completed in 36 months, marks another milestone in AESL’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions.

Beyond power transmission, AESL serves 13 million consumers through its electricity distribution business in Mumbai and Mundra SEZ. The company is also leading advancements in smart metering, positioning itself as a key player in India’s energy digitization efforts.

India’s renewable energy sector is rapidly evolving, with investments pouring into green hydrogen and ammonia production. AESL’s role in this space underscores its strategic vision to integrate green power solutions into the national grid while enhancing transmission efficiency.
