Following a Ukrainian strike on the seized region of Luhansk, three persons have died and seven more have been injured. A major fire at an oil storage depot in the area was started by the attack, and as a result, houses nearby were destroyed.

The first of these attacks occurred on an oil depot in the regional center of Luhansk on Wednesday, making this the second one in three days. The Rovenky depot was directly targeted, according to reports from Telegram groups and Ukrainian bloggers.

Russia- Ukraine War

Several images have surfaced on the internet purporting to depict a massive fire, but Sky News has not independently confirmed them. Officials from Ukraine have been assisting citizens in leaving Vovchansk because of the intense shelling.

Intense strikes have also been launched against the border town in the Kharkiv region. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, has released an updated statement regarding the situation in Kharkiv.

He says that although Russian troops have attempted to extend their operations, Ukraine is aware of the “scope of the occupier’s forces” and is responding to them with artillery, drones, and soldiers. Russian forces are reportedly making modest progress in the Donetsk region, according to the president of Ukraine.
