New Delhi has more than once called upon the Russian and Ukrainian sides to get back to the way of tact and discourse and communicated its help for all strategic endeavors to end the contention between the two nations.
India interestingly on August 24 cast a ballot against Russia during a “procedural vote” at the United Nations Security Council on Ukraine, as the 15-part strong U.N. body welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to address a gathering through a video chat.
India Voted Against Russia
Is interesting that India has cast a ballot against Russia on the issue of Ukraine after the Russian military activity started in February. Up until this point, New Delhi has gone without at the U.N. Security Council on Ukraine, likely stirring up a lot of irritation for the Western powers driven by the United States.
- For a few months there was a war happening between Russia and Ukraine.
- For this dispute there done a voting process by UNSC many times.
- In this voting India votes against Russia for the first time.
Western countries, including the U.S., have forced major monetary and different approvals on Russia following the hostility.
