Sajjad Khokhar, an impoverished man, is accused by authorities of using an axe to murder his wife and seven little children in Punjab province, Pakistan.

The attack happened when Khokhar attacked Kausar, his wife, and their kids, who ranged in age from eight months to ten years.

Disturbed over financial issues

The accused, according to the police, frequently battled with his wife and was emotionally disturbed over money problems.

A case has been filed against the man and he has been placed under custody. According to the police, the suspect admitted to his crime and claimed that he had to do it since he was out of food for his kids.

Maryam Nawaz, the Chief Minister, conveyed her sorrow over the deaths and requested an investigation from the Inspector General of Police.
