According to group chairman Gautam Adani, the Adani Group has planted 29 million trees as part of the World Economic Forum’s goal to plant a trillion trees by 2030. By the end of this decade, they hope to have planted 100 million trees in support of the mission.

According to Mr. Adani, the group hopes to plant 63 million trees inland and 37 million mangrove trees on India’s coasts. He made this announcement today in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

By 2030, Adani Group hopes to have planted 100 million trees, a noteworthy accomplishment for an Indian corporation. The organization is also aiming to improve rural livelihoods, biodiversity, and climate resilience.

Adani has already planted 29 million trees; to add to the global WEF’s 1t_org platform, the company plans to plant 63 million inland trees and 37 million mangroves on India’s coasts.

To ensure sustainability in the cement industry, the Adani Group is putting green initiatives into action. More than 90% of the cement produced by the Adani Group companies Ambuja and ACC is recycled waste fly ash and slag.

To lead the world in sustainable cement production, the company has also committed to generating 60% of its cement production from renewable energy sources by 2028. This big change is encouraging sustainability in addition to improving the company’s environmental impact.
