On Monday, Apple announced that it is attempting to resolve a “bug” that it claimed is one of the causes of some recently issued iPhone 15 cellphones overheating.
According to the Silicon Valley tech giant, the iPhone manufacturer is working with creators of some apps contributing to the issue and will fix the issue in an update to its iOS 17 mobile operating system. In answer to an AFP query, Apple said that certain circumstances can make iPhones operate warmer than expected.

According to Apple, following initial setup, certain iPhone users may notice increased background activity that causes a few days of warmer weather. An iOS 17 bug that’s causing the problem will be fixed in a future software release.
Furthermore, it has been discovered that third-party programs overtax the system, heating the CPUs inside iPhones. This problem has been connected to apps including Instagram, Uber, and Asphalt 9.
According to Apple’s support page, these circumstances are typical and the device will return to normal temperature once the operation is finished or after the activity is over.
The Lightning charging connectors of the Apple iPhone 15 models were changed by a universal charger before they went on sale on September 22 due to a dispute with the European Union.
With increasing pricing causing customers to put off moving to newer models, Apple is experiencing a decline in iPhone sales at the time of the release.
Along with rolling out enhancements to the cameras and chips in iPhones, Apple also announced that the iPhone 15, which comes in four different variations, has internal components that make repair easier and a new frame that makes it simple to replace the rear glass.
