“FSB office” is hit by a Ukrainian drone attack

  • An FSB security service office in Kursk, Russia, was hit by a drone from Ukraine.
  • At a Thursday bilateral session at the White House, President Biden committed.
  • During a stopover on Saturday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky gave state medals to two Polish volunteers

An FSB security service office in Kursk, Russia, was hit by a drone from Ukraine, which resulted in smoke rising from a structure in the city’s center area. After the commander in charge of Kyiv’s southern offensive declared that Ukraine had breached Russian defenses in the Zaporizhzhia region and anticipated making more gains, the attack took place.

In the Kherson region in southern Ukraine, two individuals were murdered by Russian airstrikes, and three others were injured, while a 67-year-old man was also killed in the village of Lvove by a different bombing.

Denis Pushilin, the leader of the Donetsk area of Ukraine that Russia has occupied, has instituted a curfew that prohibits citizens from being in streets and public places between the hours of 11 p.m. and 4 a.m., Monday through Friday.

The order prohibited gatherings, marches, and protests in the Donetsk region that were under Russian control unless they were authorized by the Operational Headquarters for Military Threat Response in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Volodymyr Zelensky reportedly received a guarantee from Joe Biden that Washington would provide Ukraine with long-range ATACMS missiles, fulfilling a crucial demand from Kyiv as it looks to advance its counteroffensive strategy.

At a Thursday bilateral session at the White House, President Biden committed. That was followed by the release of a new $325 million package of American arms and assistance.

During a stopover on Saturday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky gave state medals to two Polish volunteers but avoided meeting with any officials due to deteriorating ties between the two nations over grain imports.

Relations between Poland and Ukraine, which has been a major ally of Kyiv since Russia’s incursion in February of last year, have deteriorated as a result of Poland’s recent extension of its embargo on Ukrainian grain imports.

To maintain his critical tone toward Kyiv ahead of the October 15 elections, Poland’s prime minister warned the president of Ukraine on Friday not to “insult” Poles. During a trip to the US, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met prominent American businessmen and financiers and discussed investment potential in Ukraine.
