Donald Trump is the first former US president to ever have his mugshot taken after he turned himself in in Georgia on suspicion of attempting to rig the state’s 2020 election results. Although this was his first police booking photo, the arrest was his fourth in five months in a criminal case.

Given that he is in the lead among Republicans seeking to unseat President Joe Biden in the upcoming presidential election, Trump claims that the cases against him are politically motivated. On Thursday afternoon, he flew round trip on his private plane out of New Jersey.

The 13 accusations against Mr. Trump include racketeering, encouraging a public official to break his oath of office, conspiring to impersonate a public official, conspiring to commit forgery, and making false statements.

He disputes every accusation made against him. Rudy Giuliani, a former mayor of New York, and Mark Meadows, a former chief of staff for the White House, are two of the co-accused who have already been detained at Fulton County Jail with the other half. Black Voices for Trump’s Harrison Floyd is being kept in detention after turning himself in without a bail arrangement.

Attorney Kenneth Chesebro, a different co-defendant, was granted a quick trial request by a Georgia judge, and his case will now start on October 23.

To maintain his freedom on bail, Trump must limit his online interactions with his attorneys and refrain from threatening witnesses or fellow defendants.

Trump slammed Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis for sabotage before his trip to Georgia and accused her of being responsible for murder and other violent crimes in Atlanta.
